Just out the door and across the street is where the beaches start. The whole east shore of the island is called Crescent Beach. The further north you head the bigger the waves are. Starting at the beginning is Surf Beach and then heading north next is Baby Beach, State Beach, 1st Post, 2nd Post, Scotch Beach and, lastly, Mansion Beach. Other beaches around the island that are more secluded and tend to be rocky include West Beach, North Light, Black Rock and Vail Beach.
Behind the hedges along the driveway in the back of the building is Eli's restaurant and if you keep going straight across the street from there is Aldo's Restaurant and Pizza.
